LGBTQ+ History Month

About the October Sticker:

We are celebrating LGBTQ+ History Month during the month of October!

The design inspiration for revolves around the powerful message of self-acceptance and community support encapsulated in the phrase "Bee Proud." The central element of the design is a bee, creatively composed of vibrant pride colors, symbolizing the celebration of one's identity. This bee is further adorned with trailing colors from the progressive flag, ensuring inclusivity for all gender identities. The bee comes from the same family as hornets, not only representing unity within the LGBTQ+ community but also specifically ties into the Sac State community, reinforcing the idea that we all belong and thrive together. This design aims to inspire pride, solidarity, and recognition of the diverse identities that make up the LGBTQ+ community while fostering a sense of belonging and togetherness within the broader community.
