International Day of Persons with Disabilities
ABOUT THE DECEMBER STICKER
International Day of People with Disabilities is celebrated on December 3.
The designer for this month’s sticker found inspiration from the core values of inclusivity and the unwavering support for the rights and well-being of individuals with disabilities. Acknowledging the diversity of disabilities, relying solely on one symbol, was avoided opting instead for a compilation of various disability representations to underscore the multifaceted nature of this community. The choice of light pastel colors in the palette echoes the serene and calming tones often employed by mental health and wellness industries. Through this design, the aim is to convey a message of unity, understanding, and the importance of embracing all forms of diversity, visible and invisible, as we strive for a world that truly celebrates the uniqueness of every individual.
